Car Papercraft: Free 30+ type of car paper model template

Another collection of car paper models. This time with 30+ types of race cars to choose, free printable template.

Are you a car paper models collector? If you are, then I think you just might have surfed into the right place. Because today, I’ll introduce you to a good site for paper cars! A fan site which is dedicated on making car paper toys and distributing them freely. Yup, I said it right, it’s absolutely free! Don’t we just love those… Also check out my other post on paper cars directory.

As you can see, most of the cars are race cars. Like the one you always see in rally tournaments. I wonder if kids can fold them easily, though. If so, I can put this under craft for kids directory. Actually I have not make any of them yet, but I just downloaded the template ( I’m going to give it a go after this).

The template is in a zip file. To download the template just click on the car image and it will bring you to the template page. Inside the zip file there is a PDO format file which can only be open using pepakura viewer. If you don’t have pepakura viewer inside your pc, you will need download one. Only a small size of file, about 2mb. From there you can open the template file and print out the template. One good thing about pepakura viewer it can also serves as tutorial because you can view the model in 3D. Just click any part of the template and it will show you where to attach it or to fold it. Pretty convenient.

Ok, hope you guys can enjoy these race cars paper model for now. Just click the banner below to go to the site. And the pepakura banner to download the pepakura viewer that I just mentioned.

Happy crafting !

I’m viewing your “paper cars directory” on a Mac and would really like to build some of them. However, I cannot figure out how to do it – the patterns do not show up! I have attempted to download PePaKuRo Viewer, but I don’t think it works with a Mac computer. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Am I just out of luck or is there a way around this?
    Thank you,

    Hi Tom,
I think there is no way around except to ask the author to change it into an image file. I actually have the full version of pepakura designer but the file is locked as read only so I can not help you with it. May be you should look for another car by other authors.
